Well folks, I guess it’s that time of the year. Spring has sprung, or at least it will, once it decides to stop snowing. But hey, this is sunny, snowy, rainy Calgary, and even though we should be used to it by now, doesn’t mean we have to like it.
It was also that time of the year when the residents of the communities of Ward 5, joined Alderman Ray Jones for the third annual Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday June 15th from 9 am to 2 pm at the Westwinds Police Campus.
The City of Calgary Waste & Recycling Services and other recycling companies were on site to collect residential waste and recycling materials at no charge.
